Admixture Operator – Evening Shift in Edmonton

About the role

The Admixture Operator works on the evening shift at Sika’s Edmonton plant, producing liquid admixture products for the construction and industrial sectors. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role ensures safe, efficient production and proper handling of bulk and non‑bulk orders.

Key responsibilities

• Produce liquid admixture products by following Sika’s formulas and procedures.
• Batch raw materials, operate mixers, and keep accurate production records.
• Wash and load tanker trucks for bulk shipments and prepare pails, drums, or totes for non‑bulk orders.
• Perform quality‑control testing, record results in SAP, and report non‑conformances.
• Label and store product samples, create and close process orders, and assist with production planning.
• Order raw materials, conduct preventative maintenance inspections, and test wastewater pH levels.
• Operate forklifts and other plant equipment safely, following all safety policies.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, including waste disposal and cleaning between product runs.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with construction materials.
• Computer literacy with experience using SAP or other ERP systems (preferred).
• Forklift certification (training provided if needed).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
