Accounting & Finance Analyst

About the role

CareSimple is seeking an Accounting & Finance Analyst to join its Finance team. Reporting to the COO, you will support financial operations across Canada and the United States, handling the full accounting cycle from client billing to month‑end close. The position is based in Montréal and requires regular in‑person collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly accounting close, including journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.
• Prepare and validate client billing based on platform usage data.
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks Online.
• Contribute to monthly financial statements, management reports and variance analyses.
• Support audit preparation and compliance documentation.
• Improve financial processes and automate recurring tasks.
• Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to understand revenue data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (e.g., HEC Montréal, McGill or equivalent).
• Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX, complex formulas).
• Attention to detail, organizational rigor and an analytical mindset.
• High‑energy, responsive and willing to take initiative.
