Accounting Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our corporate finance team in Montreal. Reporting to the Controller, you will support the month‑end close, intercompany accounting and internal control processes in a fast‑moving industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record month‑end journal entries.
• Validate intercompany recharges and reconcile balances with sister companies.
• Reconcile selected general‑ledger accounts and perform bank reconciliations.
• Approve expense reports in Concur and review accounts payable for proper documentation.
• Monitor prepaid expenses, maintain vendor records and support internal control monitoring.
• Perform ad‑hoc monthly analyses to assist the accounting team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Diploma in Accounting (DEC or equivalent).
• Fluent in French and proficient in English.
• Strong motivation, dynamism, team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and autonomy.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Experience with Concur expense‑reporting system.
