Accounting & Admin Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting & Admin Clerk to support our accounting team and keep office operations running smoothly. The role combines basic payroll and billing tasks with a variety of administrative duties, offering a balanced mix of finance and office support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the accounting team with payroll processing and billing functions.
• Perform daily administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
• Coordinate travel logistics for field crews.
• Maintain accurate records for contracts, permits, and critical documentation.
• Prepare and distribute project invoices.
• Monitor office supply levels and place orders as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, employees, and subcontractors.
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails, providing high‑level customer service.

Required profile

• Prior experience or education in an administrative, accounting, or similar support role.
• Exposure to the construction industry is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with accounting software (any platform).
