Account Manager – Motion High Power

About the role

ABB is looking for an Account Manager to lead a defined portfolio of customer accounts for drives and motors within the Motion High Power division in Canada. You will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, profitability and customer satisfaction through strategic account planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts, delivering annual sales targets.
• Develop, implement and execute account plans aligned with customer needs and ABB strategy.
• Identify, qualify and develop sales opportunities, maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecast using ABB sales tools and Salesforce.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (tendering, factories, product management, service) to deliver competitive, compliant solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer applications related to drives and motors.
• Support pricing strategies, risk and contract reviews, ensuring compliance with ABB policies.
• Analyze won and lost opportunities to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing and growing B2B customer accounts.
• Strong understanding of industrial drives and motor applications.
• Ability to develop and execute account plans that meet sales and profitability objectives.
• Experience coordinating internal stakeholders to deliver value‑added solutions.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) for forecasting and reporting.
