Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager will report to the SVP of Sales and lead the development and execution of the US sales strategy across multiple channels. This role balances managing existing key accounts, acquiring new business, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive profitability and brand alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to accelerate revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with major buyers and retailers throughout North America.
• Negotiate pricing, product assortments, and commercial terms while protecting margin targets.
• Partner with planning, production, and inventory teams to identify and allocate sales opportunities.
• Forecast sales, analyze sell‑through data, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Work with design and merchandising to create compelling product assortments tailored to each retailer.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and uncover growth opportunities.
• Ensure all sales initiatives align with brand positioning and do not cannibalize other channels.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior sales staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience servicing major accounts, preferably in an off‑price channel.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (considered an asset).
