Academic Tutor (In‑person) – Vancouver

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking in‑person Academic Tutors to deliver 1‑on‑1 tutoring at students' homes and selected clubs across the Vancouver area. The role supports flexible, personalized programs for learners aged four to twenty, covering every subject area in line with the BC curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the BC curriculum.
• Create and assign supplemental assignments that reinforce classroom material.
• Deliver remedial and enrichment assistance tailored to each learner’s needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and outcomes.

Required profile

• BC‑certified teachers residing in Vancouver or teachers‑to‑be pursuing certification.
• Energetic and enthusiastic educators with prior teaching experience.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Enjoy working directly with students and their families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
