Water Transfer Technician

About the role

Sideworx Connect is seeking skilled Water Transfer Technicians to join its roster. In this role you will be responsible for moving water from source to site, ensuring safe and efficient delivery while adhering to client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as pumps, crew trucks, filtration units and equipment trailers.
• Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure proper working order.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and client regulations.
• Maintain a professional attitude, appearance and represent the company positively.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of water transfer experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pumps and flow dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a safe environment.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.

Required skills

• Pump operation
• Understanding of flow dynamics
• Equipment inspection
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean abstract
• First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certifications
• 4x4 truck operation with slip tank and transfer pump/hose
• Proof of $5 million liability insurance

Working conditions

• Outdoor environment, including extreme weather and exposure to high‑pressure lines, noise, dust, fumes and chemicals.
• Physically demanding; lifting up to 50 lb.
• 12‑hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
