Wash Aisle Operator – Industrial Laundry

About the role

The Wash Aisle Operator is responsible for moving soiled textiles through the washing and drying stages in an industrial laundry environment. You will load, unload, and monitor equipment while ensuring a smooth flow of materials to the next production phase.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry equipment.
• Monitor washing and drying cycles, entering required data into automated systems.
• Maintain efficient textile flow through the wash aisle and transport materials to subsequent stages.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required profile

• Ability to support production flow in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to perform varied tasks based on daily operational needs.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, reach overhead, and handle textiles for an entire shift.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial washers.
• Operation of tumblers and extractors.
• Use of lifts and hoists for material handling.
