Truck Driver – Mountain Routes & Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Truck Driver to operate straight or articulated trucks on mountain routes, delivering goods while providing professional customer service. The role requires on‑site work, with the possibility of relocation to meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Drive straight or articulated trucks on mountain and long‑haul routes, transporting goods safely.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip vehicle inspections, checking tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage units and other equipment.
• Oversee vehicle condition, handle heavy loads, and ensure proper documentation such as bills of lading, driver logbooks and incident reports.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; relay information to central dispatch.
• Collect and deliver payments for goods, and manage trans‑border documentation when required.
• Operate GPS and other navigation tools to plan and follow routes efficiently.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• Valid AZ class driver’s licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
• Willingness to relocate and work on‑site.
• Valid passport, clear criminal and driving record, and successful drug test.
• Experience in mountain driving and customer service is an asset.

Required skills

• Operation of straight and articulated trucks.
• Vehicle inspection and maintenance reporting.
• Use of GPS navigation systems.
• Preparation and handling of transport documentation (bill of lading, driver logbook, incident reports).
• Air Brakes system knowledge.
