Warehouse Officer / Technician (FIFO)

About the role

The Diavik Diamond Mine is seeking a Warehouse Officer / Technician to support material handling and inventory control at its Lac de Gras site. This full‑time permanent position operates on a two‑weeks‑on, two‑weeks‑off FIFO schedule, ensuring the smooth flow of supplies for underground and surface mining activities.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, equipment, and spare parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Prepare and dispatch outbound shipments to various mine locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and production teams to meet material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or material handling environment, preferably in mining or industrial settings.
• Ability to work on a FIFO roster and adapt to remote site conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
