Technology Lead – iOS Developer

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Technology Lead specializing in iOS development to join its Canadian delivery team. The role will work closely with key stakeholders, guiding the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and post‑deployment support.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and define architecture.
• Create high‑level design artifacts and deliver high‑quality code for iOS modules.
• Lead validation activities across unit, integration, system and user‑acceptance testing.
• Support implementation, transition, warranty phases and ensure smooth production rollout.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Apple App Store, monitoring performance, quality and responsiveness.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality, organization and automation.

Required profile

• Located within commuting distance of Burnaby, BC or Calgary, AB, or willing to relocate.
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience, with at least 7 years focused on iOS development.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• iOS development using Swift and Objective‑C.
• Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Animation.
• Memory management and concurrency programming on iOS.
• Apple design principles and App Store publishing.
• Version control systems: Mercurial, Git, SVN.
• C‑based libraries, push notifications, APIs, cloud messaging.
• Continuous integration pipelines.
