Team Leader – Adult Social Care

About the role

Atlantic Way Care, part of the National Care Group, is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join its Tavistock site. You will lead a team delivering 24‑hour, person‑centred support to adults with complex needs, ensuring high standards of safety, well‑being and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for staff management, coaching and development.
• Lead the delivery of group and individual activities that meet client goals and wellbeing measures.
• Monitor and support the quality of care, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation and national standards.
• Coordinate effective communication with external partners and internal teams.
• Achieve agreed annual objectives and maintain accurate back‑office records.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, proactive and dedicated approach to work.
• Experience in leading teams within adult social or health care settings.
• Commitment to promoting dignity, confidence and independence for service users.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; focus is on leadership and care coordination.
