About the role
This temporary position supports the Winter 2027 offering of PHAR 610, Scientific Communication for Pharmacologists. The teaching assistant will help deliver course content and assist students throughout the term.
Key responsibilities
- Attend one or more 2‑hour class sessions to lead activities and provide feedback to students.
- Offer one‑on‑one assistance to students who need extra support.
- Invigilate examinations and, when required, mark exams and assignments.
- Manage the myCourses website for the course, including uploading lecture materials and announcements.
Required profile
- Graduate student who has demonstrated excellent performance in PHAR 610.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills in the context of biomedical research.
- High attention to detail for accurate marking of assignments and exams.
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work at the McGill campus in Quebec.
