Strategic Deals Lead, Compute Infrastructure

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Strategic Deals Lead to shape its long‑term AI infrastructure strategy. You will originate, structure, negotiate and close complex deals that secure the compute, silicon and emerging technology resources needed to train and serve frontier AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to expand Anthropic’s access to compute, infrastructure and emerging AI technologies.
• Lead the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure transactions, from opportunity identification and term‑sheet creation through negotiation, execution and close.
• Structure creative partnerships that mitigate supply‑chain risks, support emerging hardware, and drive ecosystem initiatives.
• Integrate capital‑market and financing concepts into infrastructure deals, including project finance, credit guarantees, vendor financing and equipment leasing.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, legal and executive teams to evaluate build‑versus‑buy decisions and assess emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of AI infrastructure, semiconductor supply chains and emerging hardware ecosystems.
• Strong strategic judgment and financial acumen to evaluate and structure multi‑layered transactions.
• Proven negotiation skills for high‑stakes agreements with large technology companies.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, finance, legal and leadership teams.
• Experience in deal‑making that connects transaction structure with financing mechanisms.
