Site Superintendent – Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Site Superintendent to oversee the construction of a large multi‑phase residential community in South Barrie. The role involves managing daily operations across rough and finish stages, coordinating multiple trades, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day construction activities for a multi‑phase homebuilding project.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet milestones.
• Monitor progress against schedules, budgets, and Tarion performance guidelines.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent delays.
• Maintain a safe, organized job site and ensure compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and to quality standards.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate issues.
• Excellent judgment and common‑sense decision making.
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.
• High integrity, accountability, and a collaborative leadership style.

Required skills

• 10+ years experience as a Site Superintendent for low‑ or medium‑density residential builds.
• Solid knowledge of Tarion’s Construction Performance Guidelines.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Newstar software is an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
