Senior Tax Analyst – Corporate & Mining Tax

About the role

Glencore is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its tax team in Toronto. You will work on a broad range of Canadian corporate tax matters, supporting both corporate and mining operations while collaborating with senior tax leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns and Ontario/Quebec mining tax returns.
• Calculate monthly and quarterly tax provisions and support tax effect accounting.
• Provide advisory support on indirect, provincial and other tax issues.
• Assist with tax audits and act as liaison with tax authorities.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance.
• Partner with finance teams to deliver proactive tax guidance.
• Contribute to improvements in tax systems, processes and governance.

Required profile

• CPA designation (or international equivalent).
• 5‑7+ years of progressive tax experience, including compliance and provision work.
• Background in a multinational public accounting firm and experience in a publicly traded company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities.
