Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to join Synechron’s global QA team. The role focuses on building robust automation solutions in a fast‑paced, Agile environment while collaborating with developers, business stakeholders and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance automated test suites for web and backend applications.
• Design and build scalable test harnesses and infrastructure.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Automate end‑to‑end test scenarios across frontend and backend systems using OOP principles.
• Own requirement analysis, test planning, automation development and defect analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, business units and global stakeholders to define QA standards.
• Provide clear updates on testing progress, issues and risks.
• Work with technical leads to optimise testing strategies at the architectural level.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
• Comfortable working in fast‑changing, globally distributed teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to own QA processes end‑to‑end.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, TDD and CI/CD.
