Lead Specialist – Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking a senior security leader to own enterprise network security architecture, incident response and risk management across our complex environment. The role partners with business stakeholders to design compliant, scalable security solutions and to strengthen defenses using industry frameworks and advanced tools.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical lead ensuring security designs align with business objectives and technical standards.
• Monitor network infrastructure, detect anomalies, and investigate suspicious activity.
• Lead incident response efforts, providing guidance and hands‑on remediation.
• Design and recommend advanced network security controls for new and acquired systems.
• Collaborate with leaders to translate complex security requirements into effective solutions.
• Conduct full‑stack reviews for compliance with ITSEC standards and produce advisory reports.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend cost‑effective, scalable solutions.
• Maintain documented procedures and lead security assessments and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• 8+ years progressive experience in information security, including 3+ years in a senior or principal role.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC or CCSP are strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Network security architecture and firewall management.
• Incident response and vulnerability management.
• Security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP.
• Security audits, risk assessments and compliance reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with a broad range of security tools and technologies.
