Senior Project Manager / Leader

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager / Leader to drive large‑scale enterprise initiatives within the Ontario public sector. The role involves leading high‑profile, high‑risk I&IT projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and schedule while adhering to OPS governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project management for enterprise‑level business and I&IT initiatives, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and resources.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, roadmaps, timelines and governance documentation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including policy, IT, legal, communications, privacy and operations.
• Provide executive‑level reporting, status updates, risk mitigation strategies and portfolio reporting.
• Facilitate steering committees, stakeholder meetings and governance forums.
• Manage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting and expenditure tracking.
• Lead organizational change management and support adoption of project deliverables.
• Oversee vendor coordination, procurement, deployment planning and implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with OPS project management methodologies, ITIL processes and governance standards.
• Lead quality assurance activities and align solutions with business and technical requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of integrated enterprise project management experience across business and I&IT teams.
• Proven track record managing multi‑year, multi‑million‑dollar enterprise projects.
• Extensive experience with stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, and resource planning.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Siebel CRM environments and public‑sector project governance.
