Senior Project Manager – Finance Technology

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Finance Technology initiatives with a focus on capital markets. The role bridges business objectives and technology delivery, ensuring projects are scoped, planned, and executed to create measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Translate project vision into high‑level scope, design, and executable plans.
• Develop program roadmaps, implementation plans, and align them with stakeholder direction.
• Identify, track, and resolve complex program issues, escalating to executive steering committees when necessary.
• Create and maintain program and project metrics, status reporting, and KPI dashboards.
• Conduct risk assessments, define contingency plans, and operationalize governance and oversight.
• Integrate project plans at the program level, build estimating models, and manage performance against them.
• Develop business cases for change and design holistic end‑state transformation roadmaps.
• Clarify ambiguous situations, focus effort on high‑value activities, and manage scope using fact‑based metrics.
• Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business owners, and technology leaders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance‑technology projects, preferably in capital markets.
• Strong ability to translate strategic objectives into detailed execution plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive decision‑making.
• Experience with governance frameworks and risk‑based forecasting.
