Senior Planner

About the role

The Senior Planner will drive strategic planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization across product categories. Working closely with merchandising and cross‑functional teams, you will ensure the right styles are available in the right place at the right time, supporting growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain planning tools and flowcharts that reflect sales performance, inventory position, and forward‑looking risks.
• Lead business reviews, communicating key changes, risks, and actions to stakeholders.
• Build and manage detailed forecasts for core products at style‑color level across channels and regions.
• Monitor stock coverage and demand patterns to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Partner with Buying to construct and refine buy plans, validating depth, breadth, and investment against sales expectations.
• Drive allocation decisions by region and size curve to align inventory with demand.
• Support inventory lifecycle management, including identification and action on aged stock.
• Provide data‑driven insights for assortment decisions and SKU‑level planning.
• Perform rigorous data validation and manage chase orders based on in‑season performance.
• Conduct deep‑dive analysis on sales, inventory, and product performance to uncover opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning, forecasting, or inventory management within a retail or merchandising environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
