Senior Account Executive (Remote)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Senior Account Executive to help design realistic digital workspaces that enable frontier AI agents to perform complex enterprise‑sales tasks. This remote contract position blends sales expertise with AI research, allowing you to directly influence how leading labs train and evaluate next‑generation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build a realistic digital workspace centered on daily Drive folders, incorporating discovery notes, account plans, pitch decks, pricing models, proposals, contract redlines, pipeline reviews, and email threads.
• Design multi‑step tasks that mirror real sales workflows, requiring navigation across multiple apps, files, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other account executives and enterprise sales experts to shape task scope, ensure realism, and review scenarios.
• Work asynchronously with research teams, refining task designs and evaluation criteria for enterprise‑sales agent benchmarks.
• Contribute to frontier AI research and benchmarking, directly informing how AI systems are trained and evaluated.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑time account‑executive or B2B enterprise‑sales experience with a quota.
• Background in mid‑market or enterprise SaaS full‑cycle sales.
• Experience in strategic or named‑account sales with multi‑stakeholder deal cycles.
• Demonstrated ownership of the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, close.
• Strong analytical thinking and writing ability; capable of translating sales workflows into structured task specifications.
• Preferred experience in field sales, inside sales, solutions‑led selling, new‑logo acquisition, expansion/renewals, or channel/partner/co‑sell motions.
