Senior OpenShift DevOps Engineer – Remote (4‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps professional to join our team on a four‑month contract, working fully remotely. The role focuses on operating and evolving our OpenShift platform while ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance across multiple clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the OpenShift/Kubernetes environment.
• Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and tooling (GitLab, Ansible, Helm).
• Implement advanced monitoring, alerts, and dashboards with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Manage multiple clusters and environments through ACM.
• Design and execute backup, recovery, and high‑availability strategies.
• Optimize VM migrations and overall system performance.
• Document processes and transfer knowledge to the team.

Required profile

• Solid senior‑level DevOps or system administration background in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Proven track record in monitoring and logging using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components such as networking, storage, and virtualization.
