Senior Manager, ORM – Technology & Cyber Security

About the role

The Senior Manager, ORM – Technology & Cyber Security leads PC Financial’s technology and cyber security risk program. Reporting to the Director of ORM, the role operates in the second line of defense to challenge, improve and oversee risk practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own Technology & Cyber Security Risk and Control Assessments for areas such as Technology Operations, Cyber Security, Access Management, Change Management, Disaster Recovery and Cloud.
• Deliver insights to leadership, meet regulatory expectations (e.g., B13, B10 & E21) and highlight potential gaps.
• Monitor and report open technology and cyber security issues, escalating delays to senior leadership.
• Establish processes to collect and validate data for risk‑appetite metrics reporting.
• Participate in vendor meetings, identify gaps in vendor cyber programs and drive remediation, including annual assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Provide advisory support to the first line for project risk assessments and evaluate operational risks from new initiatives.
• Build collaborative relationships with Technology, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Control and Internal Audit teams.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in technology and cyber security risk management.
• Proven ability to work independently and challenge first‑line risk practices.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership and external vendors.
• Experience delivering risk assessments, reporting insights and supporting governance processes.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions to drive risk‑aware decisions.
