SAP Technical Lead

About the role

Lead daily coordination with internal teams for end-to-end technical onboarding and foundation setup of SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition on Azure, covering network connectivity, DNS, identity and access management, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Business Technology Platform and operational readiness. Serve as the single technical point of contact across SAP RISE, internal cloud, network, IAM, security teams, system integrators and ServiceNow/ITIL processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own internal tickets and updates for RISE PCE technical onboarding and work-stream planning (connectivity, identity, operations).
• Coordinate private connectivity including ExpressRoute changes, routing, allow-lists, DNS forwarding, name resolution and firewall/inspection requirements.
• Drive SSO and provisioning patterns between Microsoft Entra ID and SAP IAS/IPS using SAML/OIDC, SCIM and align access governance (including SailPoint/CyberArk where applicable).
• Implement SAP Cloud ALM integration end-to-end with monitoring hooks, alerting and operational processes.
• Establish SAP BTP foundation – sub-account and global account setup, entitlements, destinations, connectivity patterns and security baseline.
• Lead ServiceNow ticketing and cross-team coordination across cloud, network, IAM, security and SOC functions.
• Define operational handover artefacts such as runbooks, support model, monitoring/log forwarding and disaster-recovery connectivity readiness.

Required profile

• Strong delivery leadership with stakeholder management experience in SAP and cloud environments.
• Hands-on or leading experience with SAP Basis and SAP workloads on Azure.
• Proven experience with SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition connectivity and Azure networking services.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow ticketing workflows.
• Ability to produce clear documentation and runbooks for operational handover.
