About the role
GONG CHA is seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at its Calgary location. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth service, maintaining budgetary controls, and delivering a high‑quality dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and adjust daily operations to meet budget targets.
- Modify food preparation methods and menu pricing according to the restaurant budget.
- Monitor and improve staff performance.
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily restaurant activities.
- Recruit, schedule, and train staff members.
- Determine service types and implement operational procedures.
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Negotiate catering arrangements with clients.
- Address customer complaints and concerns promptly.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) required.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and client‑focused attitude.
