About the role

GONG CHA is seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at its Calgary location. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth service, maintaining budgetary controls, and delivering a high‑quality dining experience.

Key responsibilities

Evaluate and adjust daily operations to meet budget targets.
Modify food preparation methods and menu pricing according to the restaurant budget.
Monitor and improve staff performance.
Plan, organize, and supervise daily restaurant activities.
Recruit, schedule, and train staff members.
Determine service types and implement operational procedures.
Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Negotiate catering arrangements with clients.
Address customer complaints and concerns promptly.

Required profile

Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) required.
7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Basic security clearance.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and client‑focused attitude.
