About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales growth for lift‑truck and industrial battery solutions across the Atlantic provinces and Quebec. This home‑based position is based in Toronto and works closely with OEM partners, national accounts and internal teams to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) models.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain sales in existing accounts while prospecting new lift‑truck dealers and end‑users.
  • Manage a territory of product agents and direct customer relationships in the Atlantic provinces and Quebec.
  • Develop unified sales and service strategies for target customers.
  • Serve as primary contact for new and existing customers, providing visits, issue resolution and information sharing.
  • Coordinate coverage of national accounts through OEMs, zone managers and internal support staff.
  • Complete monthly power studies and use inCOMMAND to generate TCO models.
  • Assist in working‑capital control, including overdue receivables.
  • Forecast, track and report sales activity, maintaining an acceptable sales‑to‑expense ratio.
  • Represent Stryten at trade shows, train new regional managers and present at sales meetings as needed.

Required profile

  • Progressively responsible career in territory sales or key‑account management, preferably in material handling, lift‑truck or industrial battery sales.
  • Strong sales management experience with a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally across business units and influence decisions.
  • High business acumen and quantitative/analytical capability to manage complex sales processes.
  • Energy, initiative and results‑orientation in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

  • Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Gmail and general Internet proficiency
  • inCOMMAND software for TCO modeling
