Recruitment Consultant – Energy Sector

About the role

NES Fircroft is looking for a proactive Recruitment Consultant to join our Calgary team. You will own your desk, build lasting relationships with candidates and clients, and help place top technical talent in the energy and engineering sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Source, interview, evaluate and place technical professionals in contract, contract‑to‑hire and permanent roles.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to expand talent pipelines.
• Conduct in‑depth phone and face‑to‑face interviews to assess qualifications and career aspirations.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with candidates, providing guidance and regular communication.
• Manage client accounts, conduct visits and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Drive new business through leads, referrals and strategic outreach.
• Ensure 100% compliance with NES Fircroft quality processes and industry regulations.
• Balance multiple job orders and qualified candidates across complex opportunities.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of recruitment experience, preferably agency‑based.
• Outgoing, confident and relationship‑focused.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and eager to grow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
