Quality Assurance Coordinator

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of its Quality Management System (QMS) on large infrastructure projects in Ontario. The role works closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and technical disciplines to ensure all quality documentation and processes meet project and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain material traceability for received, installed, or fabricated items.
• Update and manage the Area’s Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) tracker, inspection logs, and quality documentation registers.
• Verify that ITPs, checklists, test reports, and material certificates are reviewed, signed, and uploaded to Asite or other approved platforms.
• Support preparation of ITP close‑out and handover packages, ensuring full documentation traceability.
• Review subcontractor quality submissions for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate with Civil/Structural, MEP, Architectural, and Precast teams to schedule and track hold/witness points.
• Track daily site inspections, NCR status, and pending hold points.
• Record, issue, and follow up on Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs), maintaining related registers.
• Liaise with subcontractors and internal departments to obtain missing documentation or clarifications.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with inspection and test plans, non‑conformance processes, and document control.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation streams.
• Effective communication with subcontractors, engineers, and project teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Asite or similar document management platforms.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Ability to manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and related records.
