Pharmacy Director

About the role

The Pharmacy Director will lead pharmacy services across Brant Community Healthcare System’s two sites in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. Reporting to senior hospital leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and patient‑centered medication management while supporting the organization’s strategic priorities of quality care, collaboration, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy operations, including inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care pharmacy services.
• Develop and implement policies that ensure regulatory compliance and medication safety.
• Manage pharmacy budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to meet service demands.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to integrate pharmacy services into patient care pathways.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid Ontario license.
• Proven leadership experience in a hospital or health‑system pharmacy setting.
• Strong understanding of Canadian pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
