Pharmacist – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time pharmacist to join a locally owned pharmacy and provide health, beauty and convenience services to the community. The role involves managing daily pharmacy operations, dispensing medication, and delivering professional counseling to customers and health‑care providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on‑duty pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
• Provide prescription counseling, over‑the‑counter advice, and professional services within the expanded scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records, privacy standards, and consent management.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Oversee inventory control, including stock reviews, expiration checks, and controlled substance reporting.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment reflects a professional image and adheres to health‑and‑safety policies.
• Document and report any medication or privacy incidents.
