Part‑Time Pharmacist

About the role

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a dedicated part‑time pharmacist to join its pharmacy team across Canadian communities. You will play a key role in delivering safe, accurate medication services while providing exceptional customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately and promptly.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.
• Counsel patients on new and additional medications with a friendly, proactive approach.
• Promote health awareness through public‑health events, clinics and other community outreach.
• Address patient and physician inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and control pharmacy costs.
• Provide training and mentorship to pharmacy technicians, interns, students and IPGs.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with a valid Class A Pharmacist licence.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Leadership and performance‑management abilities.
• Experience in community‑based marketing and business development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Healthwatch or KROLL Pharmacy systems is an asset.

Required skills

• Healthwatch pharmacy software (preferred).
• KROLL Pharmacy computer system (preferred).
