Part‑time Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Housekeeping Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms at our boutique hotel in downtown Toronto. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will ensure rooms meet our high standards and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning
• Make beds according to hotel standards
• Replenish guestroom and bathroom supplies
• Deliver and retrieve loaned items such as irons and ironing boards
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g., steam‑clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning)
• Maintain work area and equipment to hotel standards
• Attend to guest calls, requests, and complaints in the assigned area
• Achieve and exceed guest satisfaction targets
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Ability to move, lift, and carry objects ≤25 lb unaided and >25 lb with assistance
• Ability to push/pull a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping or uneven surfaces
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods during a shift
• Fine motor skills for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required
