Motion & Graphic Designer – Remote (Canada)

About the role

Directive Consulting is seeking a creative and data‑driven Motion & Graphic Designer to join its remote team in Canada. You will craft visual assets that cut through the noise on platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, directly influencing campaign performance for B2B brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design compelling ad sets and landing pages backed by performance data.
• Produce motion graphics and short‑form video cutdowns optimized for social media advertising.
• Edit existing video assets into high‑performing ad units tailored to platform specifications.
• Collaborate with media and content teams to align motion creative with audience insights and campaign goals.
• Maintain brand consistency across static, motion, and video assets while adapting to different audience segments.
• Work with internal and client teams to define business goals, target audiences, and data points for A/B testing.
• Design and implement A/B tests using CRO tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, or Crazyegg.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and heat‑mapping analysis to validate design decisions.
• Iterate continuously based on test results and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong design portfolio demonstrating motion graphics and video editing work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an agency environment.
• Experience working with enterprise‑level brands and data‑driven design processes.
• Creative, curious, and eager to experiment and learn.
