Midwife – Community Health Services (Hybrid)

About the role

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a qualified Midwife to join its Women’s Health Clinic. This hybrid position provides primary care to women throughout the childbearing year, working within a multidisciplinary team and adhering to the Midwifery Model of Practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive midwifery services in line with College of Midwives of Manitoba standards.
• Maintain effective communication with community, hospital staff, public health, and emergency services.
• Participate in equitable on‑call coverage with a practice group of midwives.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance competency and service quality.

Required profile

• Recent midwifery practice meeting the College of Midwives of Manitoba’s currency standards.
• Graduated from an approved midwifery program.
• Current CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification with intubation.
• Eligible for registration with the College of Midwives of Manitoba (practicing, supervised, or exam candidate).
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport clinical equipment, including climbing stairs.

• Annual salary ranging from $60,165 to $72,238 CAD.
