Mid-Market Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Market Account Manager to join a leading international brokerage firm in Montreal. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of mid‑market commercial insurance clients, driving renewals, upselling and cross‑selling across a range of coverages.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of mid‑market commercial insurance accounts with premiums ranging from $50,000 to $500,000.
• Lead renewal cycles, identify upsell opportunities and cross‑sell additional products such as property, civil liability and cyber insurance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, understand their risk profiles and provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with underwriting and support teams to ensure accurate policy issuance and service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial insurance sales or account management.
• Motivated, results‑oriented professional who values continuous learning and career growth.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus given the Montreal location.

Required skills

• AMF certification for commercial insurance.
• Knowledge of property insurance policies.
• Familiarity with civil liability and cyber insurance products.
