Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Eurocert is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its development team and drive the growth of its inspection and certification business. The role involves managing projects from concept through to completion and promoting services both locally and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and expand the company’s market presence.
• Perform inspections, audits and certification activities in accordance with Eurocert’s quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state regulations and maintain system functionality.
• Guide junior engineers, provide technical direction and act as a liaison with customers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of technologies, best practices and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience as an engineer or lead auditor within a certification body.
• Experience in scheme or certification management, preferably in systems or environmental management.
• Strong focus on quality control and high organizational and marketing abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and navigate ambiguous situations.
