Manager, Court Orders Oversight (Bilingual)

About the role

This role leads the day‑to‑day delivery of critical deposit and payment processes while overseeing the intake, review, interpretation and execution of court orders. The manager ensures all disclosures, productions and related activities meet legal, regulatory, privacy and evidentiary standards within a B2C banking model.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational activities for retail and commercial deposits, payments, cheque and electronic transaction processing, lockbox and remote deposit services.
• Oversee court‑order intake, ensure legally compliant review, interpretation, execution and fulfillment of judicial, regulatory and law‑enforcement requests.
• Provide leadership to meet service‑level agreements, maintain stakeholder relationships and drive efficient workflow across the organization.
• Act as a trusted advisor and legal/regulatory subject‑matter expert, guiding scope, disclosure obligations, timelines and risk considerations in partnership with Legal and Compliance.
• Identify emerging issues, recommend solutions, and support strategic initiatives with internal and external partners.
• Monitor performance, track issues, and implement change‑management processes to improve team effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency (English/French) with strong communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience in a banking or financial‑services environment.
• Deep knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to court orders and data privacy.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and translate them into operational actions.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and collaboration capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience in process improvement and change management.
