Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join the Facilities & Construction team at Couche‑Tard/Circle K in Calgary as a Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for keeping equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently, supporting the daily operations of our stores.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on frozen beverage units and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Carry out light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, and lighting work as needed.
• Document actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure continuity among work teams.
• Review records and reports to ensure cost‑effective repairs.
• Participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Enforce maintenance policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and industry publications.

Required profile

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and roofing tasks.
• Strong attention to documentation and safety compliance.
