About the role

Join SSP America’s airport restaurant team as a Line Cook, preparing tasty dishes for travelers at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. You’ll work in a fast‑paced back‑of‑house environment, ensuring every order is executed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Maintain proper daily set‑up of the kitchen station and ensure all tools are readily accessible.
• Requisition, stock, and rotate food, paper products, and condiments.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products according to safety standards.
• Set up, clean, maintain, and break down kitchen equipment and machinery.
• Manage stock, cut, and store perishables to preserve quality.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
• Ensure the quality of all products served and perform assigned cleaning tasks.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum one year of experience in a food‑service environment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Food handler’s permit and any required brand certifications.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
