Kitchen Supervisor

About the role

The Kitchen Supervisor will lead a small team in a fast‑food outlet, ensuring that food preparation, portioning, and service meet the highest quality and safety standards while keeping up with a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain work schedules to meet daily service demands.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 5‑10 staff members who prepare, portion, and assemble food.
• Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supply needs, manage stock, and control waste.
• Hire and onboard new food‑service staff.
• Ensure food quality and service meet established control standards.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and regular reports.
• Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee tray assembly, trolley delivery, and overall kitchen workflow.

Required profile

• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a fast‑food or concession kitchen.
• Strong client focus and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, teamwork orientation, and willingness to work evenings, mornings, nights, weekends, or days as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and lift moderate loads.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
