Intermediate Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a growing organization that seeks an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join its finance team. The role offers the chance to own full‑cycle accounting tasks while collaborating with cross‑functional colleagues in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting duties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Complete bank, credit‑card, and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and GST filings.
• Support year‑end audit requirements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Contribute to process improvements and drive efficiencies within the accounting function.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
