Tax Advisor & Preparer (Hybrid – Travel Required)

About the role

FBC is seeking a Tax Advisor & Preparer to work directly with its members in London, ON. This hybrid position combines on‑site visits to members’ businesses with office work, providing personalized tax strategies and linking clients to the firm’s broader suite of financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file T1 and T2 tax returns for farms, small businesses, and individuals.
• Deliver accurate tax and accounting advice tailored to each member’s situation.
• Identify member needs and refer them to bookkeeping, payroll, legal, estate and financial planning specialists.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships that encourage referrals.
• Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and services provided.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a tax preparation or accounting firm.
• Proven ability to work independently while travelling to urban and remote locations.
• Valid driver’s licence, vehicle registration and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong client‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
