Info Security Analyst – Application Security

About the role

The Info Security Analyst will lead the design, implementation, and testing of application security solutions. You will work closely with technology teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and evaluate new security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, triage non‑compliant assets and create runbooks for escalation.
• Partner with technology teams to identify remediation solutions, track progress and report on compliance status.
• Provide technical leadership for application security processes, tools, and procedures.
• Research, design and implement application security solutions and best practices.
• Direct testing of security plans and lead evaluations of new security systems and technologies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model within risk and control frameworks.
• Experience in vulnerability response, compliance operations, and risk management.
• Proven background in cyber security, information security, or IT operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Required skills

• ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance operations.
• Building simple queries in ServiceNow and Splunk.
• Vulnerability management and compliance operations.
• Risk management and IT audit/technology risk assessment.
• Application security design, implementation and testing.
