HSE Officer – Wind Projects

About the role

EOSOL Group is looking for an experienced HSE Officer to support utility‑scale wind projects across Canada. You will ensure that all field activities comply with health, safety and environmental standards, maintaining safe working conditions during operations and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce HSE compliance on‑site during daily activities.
• Participate in safety meetings, operational planning and emergency response drills.
• Validate work permits, LOTO, JSEA and other critical safety procedures.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and electrical safety compliance.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near‑misses, and prepare daily HSE reports.
• Support site audits, inspections and verify worker certifications and mandatory training.
• Maintain accurate field documentation with time‑stamped reports and photos.

Required profile

• Degree or technical diploma in HSE, Industrial Safety, Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience as an HSE Officer or Supervisor on wind, industrial or energy projects; utility‑scale wind experience preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA 10/30 (or equivalent), First Aid/CPR; Working at Heights/Rescue and CSA Z462 Electrical Safety are a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
