HSE Officer – Wind Projects

About the role

EOSOL Group is looking for an HSE Officer to support its utility‑scale wind projects across Canada. The role ensures health, safety and environmental compliance during wind farm operations and maintenance, maintaining safe working conditions on site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce HSE compliance during field activities.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and operational planning.
• Support and verify work permits, LOTO, JSEA and critical safety procedures.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and electrical safety compliance.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near‑misses.
• Prepare daily HSE reports and safety documentation.
• Assist with site audits and HSE inspections.
• Verify worker certifications and mandatory training compliance.
• Participate in emergency response and rescue readiness activities.
• Maintain field documentation with time‑stamped reports and photos.

Required profile

• Degree or technical diploma in HSE, industrial safety, engineering or related field.
• Previous experience as an HSE Officer or Supervisor on wind, industrial or energy projects; utility‑scale wind experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
