Head of Sales – Canada (Automotive)

About the role

Reporting to senior leadership, the Head of Sales will drive the commercial performance of Geely Auto in Canada, overseeing channel development, sales strategy, compliance and customer experience across the country.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct market intelligence and develop competitive strategies to keep Geely Auto ahead in the EV landscape.
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard dealer and distribution partners, building a coast‑to‑coast retail network.
  • Set and own annual and monthly sales targets, create localized go‑to‑market plans and monitor KPIs such as volume, profitability, market share and NPS.
  • Align with supply‑chain and logistics to match vehicle availability with market demand and ensure dealer health.
  • Champion Net Promoter Score programs and turn customer feedback into actionable improvements.
  • Proactively manage compliance with Canadian automotive regulations and internal policies.
  • Serve as the public face of Geely Auto in Canada, representing the brand with dealers, partners, industry bodies and media.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven senior sales leadership experience in the automotive or a closely related industry.
  • Track record of building and managing dealer networks and large sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian automotive market, consumer trends and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
