Full-Cycle Accountant (Remote, $50-$80/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Full‑Cycle Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting functions on an hourly contract basis. You will work independently, supporting financial accuracy and strategic planning for our digital operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, general‑ledger reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow and expense tracking to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline financial workflows and improve processes.
• Present financial insights clearly through reports and verbal communication to diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong experience in accounting and finance management within a remote or digital environment.
• Proficiency with Akaunting or similar cloud‑based accounting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
